Natalie's Ballet Training

Natalie started ballet school here in our village (Zollikon). She has always wanted to dance ballet, and she loves to dance. At the Moulan Rouge in Paris she got up and danced before the "second" act started. Every time we see live music she gets right in front of the band and dances. Her Greek dancing is especially good. She even managed to do the Macarana to a traditional Greek song on one of the islands. She had the band, and us, in stitches.

Natalie stretching like all good ballerinas.

The instructor was a woman from the Royal (British) Ballet Academy. Of course the class was given in Swiss German, but she trained the girls to respond differently to several interludes she played on the piano.

Natalie (in the front) takes this very seriously.

Here is Natalie at ballet class and teacher.

Natalie and one of her best friends in Switzerland, Angelina, loved to dance anytime they heard music.

Here they are waltzing at the local Bavarian gathering.

Then they joined the band.

And after all that hard work it was time for a drink.
