Tschüss Schweiz!

We loved our time in Switzerland and were very sad to leave.  We met so many genuinely nice people and visited so many beautiful places.  We've adopted Switzerland as our second country.  In fact, we now fly a Swiss flag on many Swiss holidays (such as Aug. 1 Independence day).

You've seen many of the beautiful sites of Switzerland; here are some of the good friends we made:

This is Richard and Maja. Richard is the air traffic controller I worked with throughout the project.

This is Franziska, she ran the EMA House (our first residence).

This is Claudia and Patrick, our friends and neighbors.

This is Nikko and Lawrence, our biker buddies.

This is Hans and Brigette, our friends and landlords.

This is Peter and Waltraud. Peter was the project leader at Swisscontrol.

This is Walter (Swisscontrol trainer) on the left and Brigette on the right (we're in the middle).

This is Claude (the transplanted Canadian).

This is Marcel (pulling Natalie) and Angela (pushing the stroller on skis).

This is Ica and Angelina, our neighbor and Natalie's school friend.

On my last day of work, the Swisscontrol team gave Dan a farewell party.  Here is part of the  team; Madeliene (Engineering Manager), Ralph (Engineer), Uli (Maintenance), Ken (SYMA - System Manager), Dan, Natalie, Claude (Testing), Peter (Project Leader), and Walter (Trainer).

Our appologies to Carl and Sybill, not photos of you two.

Tschuss Schweiz, we'll be back.
